What makes a good request
- One question ending in a single "?". One claim only, no "and also".
- 8-25 words (10-20 is the sweet spot). Under 8 is usually just a subject; over 25 usually hides several claims.
- Be specific. Name the exact policy, action or technology, who or where it applies, and the outcome to be judged. A bare subject like "Politics", "God" or "AI" will be rejected.
- Arguable with evidence. Both sides must be able to cite sources. No personal advice, private individuals or insults.
- You need a free account (an emailed sign-in link, no password). Limit: one request per rolling 24 hours (the page shows when you can request again). Requests are private and the curator reviews each one; nothing publishes automatically. Close matches are merged.
From too broad to debatable

| God | Does the fine-tuning of physical constants count as evidence for a designer rather than a multiverse? | 16 | One argument, two rival explanations, with evidence and logic on both sides. |
| Politics | Should US cities eliminate minimum parking requirements for new housing developments? | 11 | One rule, one set of actors, and real cost data on both sides. |
| Climate change | Do carbon border adjustment taxes reduce global emissions more than they shift production abroad? | 14 | Names a mechanism and a measurable trade-off. |
| Immigration | Does granting work permits to asylum seekers while claims are pending increase irregular border crossings? | 15 | A specific policy lever with a measurable outcome. |
| AI | Should US schools ban students from using generative AI for graded essay assignments? | 13 | One setting, one action, a trade-off between learning and enforceability. |
| Is social media bad for society? | Does limiting teenagers' social media use to one hour daily improve measured school-day attention? | 14 | A specific intervention, population and metric. |
| Is capitalism good, and should government do more about inequality and healthcare? | Rejected even at 13 words: it stacks three claims. Pick one. | 13 | Debates that stack claims drift and never resolve. |
